A quick post tonight as I wanted to let everyone know about my friend Gary’s fundraising project.
A lot of you will know Gary’s story – he spent 95 days in hospital last year after developing severe COVID pneumonitis. Forty-seven of these were spent in the Intensive Care Unit at Barnet Hospital, North London.
Gary has made a remarkable recovery which you can read more about in an earlier post –
On Saturday, Gary is cycling 54 miles from London to Brighton in order to demonstrate how far he has come in the past year and to raise money for the Intensive Care Unit that saved his life.
He has set up a Just Giving Page here – There are some good pictures and a great video of him leaving the hospital like a celeb!
